Taibará Natural Refuge is a hotel, the result of a passionate quest to live in harmony with nature, with respect, care, and gratitude. As a family, we have dedicated ourselves to promoting sustainable lifestyles in the communities where we have lived. We currently live in a nature reserve, where we co-create a collective conservation project.
In the heart of this reserve, we built the Taibará Natural Refuge, a space that captures the lessons and experiences of our journey through Chocó and Eastern Antioquia. This refuge is a family dream come true, where nature, well-being, and inspiration intertwine to create a magical place.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Cool clothing, long and short sleeves, a hat, comfortable walking shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, a comfortable backpack or satchel, and insect repellent.
What to bring?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi, but we invite you to disconnect from your cell phone and experience nature.
Do you have wifi?
Check-in time 2:00 pm and maximum until 5 pm The room must be delivered by 12:00 pm, but you can stay enjoying the place and the other facilities until 5 pm
Entry and exit
It is tropical and temperate, with an average temperature of 27°C during the day and 19°C at night.
What is the weather like?
It is right next to the hotel, just a 4-minute walk away.
Where is the river?
We love animals, but to protect the wildlife that lives in the Reserve (such as babies, ñeques, armadillos, ocelots, monkeys, and birds), we do not accept pets. We appreciate your understanding.
